Brandy Product Information Brandy is a fantastic base spirit in cocktails, it is already the base of a large percentage of the liqueurs used in the cocktails you mix. The most famous Brandy region is the Beautiful Cognac just north of Bordeaux in France Armagnac is the world's second most popular Brandy region behind Cognac, it is Cognac older brother. Armagnac is inland from Bordeaux. It is that change in climate that gives it unique character.
