David White affectionately
known in the bar industry as Doctor Dave has
fifteen years experience in the Hospitality industry in Britain and Spain. During this time he has
developed his flair, mixology skills and managerial skills in some of the top bars in England &
Spain. David has also spent the last 8 years in the key role of
company trainer for Living Ventures Ltd, Living Ventures run the Livingroom bar & restaurant,
Mosquito Night Club, Vampire lounge & Prohibition Chains with some rated among the most high
volume & profile bars in the UK. David White is a bar professional with a real passion for bar and
Hospitality industry.
In 2005
David was the Co- Founder of Speakeasy Bartending Ltd in the UK providing bartending for corporate,
private & festival events. Also supplying Bar consultancy, Bar Design & Staff
Training. In 2005 David became
head bartender for the Living Room Liverpool also becoming the venues store trainer. The Livingroom
Liverpool is the Living Room chains flag ship bar & rated the best bar in Liverpool. In this
role David's responsible included bartending, developing new cutting edge seasonal cocktail menus,
stock control, staff Rostering, upgrading training manuals, bartender service standard &
bartender skills. From
2003 to 2005 David helped launch Prohibition Liverpool when it was taken over by Living Ventures.
David's first role was to train the bartending team, create a cocktail menu, select the bars product
range, put in place stock control procedures & back of house infrastructure, before taking
on the roles of Head Bartender & Bar Trainer for the venue. His responsibilities included In
the summers of 2002 & 2003 David was a head bartender for Bar M in Ibiza, Spain From
2001 to 2002 David was head bartender & staff trainer for The Living Room, Liverpool with duties
including bartending, training new staff, ongoing training of existing staff, staff Rostering &
stock control. From
1998 to 2001 David worked at Life café, Liverpool at that time part of Living Ventures.
starting as a Cocktail/flair bartender, David was promoted to head bartender then bar trainer. With
duties including From
1997 to 1998 David was Bar manager for Bar Ca Va, Liverpool, with duties including bartending, cashing
out staff, handling keys, dealing with queries/complaints from
1995 to 1997 David was a Cocktail/flair bartender at P.J Clarke’s Liverpool with a basic rule that
included Flair bartending, mixology and general bartending. David’s
bar career started at Flanagan’s Apple Liverpool from 1991 to 1995 starting as a Glass collector
before becoming a bartender. David
can also read & write in Spanish David has also enjoyed great success in bartending competition with
results including J.W. Johnson’s Flair competition, Manchester- Finalist
